MARTIAL ARTS EXPERIENCE
Jorge “Zen” Rodriguez is a true pioneer of the Martial Arts and has devoted over two decades of his life to his passion. Jorge grew up in a very rough neighborhood and his mother decided it was time to introduce him to the Martial Arts to teach him how to protect him as well as self discipline. His curiosity and devotion helped grow an immediate passion and love for the art; however, it also sparked a competitive drive in him that caused him to participate and win in almost all the local tournaments he entered. He was unstoppable and in 1988 was nominated Teen Wonderboy defeating world renowned Tae Bo pioneer, Billy Blanks, in a sudden-death 5 to 4 decision at a National tournament. Jorge has studied directly under protégés of Grand Master Ed Parker and Grand Master Jhoon Rhee holding titles won in hundreds of tournaments including the US Open and the Pan American Nationals. He later decided to take his point fighting titles into the ring and embarked on a full contact career winning the Florida State Kickboxing Championships and the International Two Men In One Man Out Tournament held in Managua, Nicaragua.

Jorge has since retired from competition to over look his athletes’ training and preparation for competition.
